Yesterday was the last day of @kellybalchimages wedding season and we went out with a bang—being quadruple booked, (first time 🙏🏼🥹). Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d get to this moment now. At the beginning of the year, in January, I announced my retirement from physically shooting weddings so I can focus on writing, doing more DP work, and building my agency (KBi) and managing my associate team. With a lot of trail and error, trying new things, learning, failing, learning more, failing more, laughing at some of my same failures, this year was full of knowledge and an abundance of growth in so many factions! I’m incredibly grateful for my couples + clients who have booked us this year and believed in me and my team, and of course grateful for my team, who without them also believing in me and KBi, wouldn’t have come to this point today. It’s only year one with KBi and already I can wait for the next year and the 2.0 version! I also want to note to my couples who are still waiting for their wedding galleries and videos.
