WHAT’S YOUR GOAL? When making exercise selections that’s the question I start with. For me with this movement the goal is to grow my upper back. Now I could use something like a barbell row but then Im having to give up some of the intent/focus on rowing for stabilizing my body, making up for a slightly worse profile and that it isn’t quite worth it for me.
