"Juniper is doing so much better! Her skin is no longer bleeding, it has dried up and the scabs have been finally coming off with ease.⁠ ⁠ At first she didn't want to leave her safe space. I had to work with throwing treats down to get her to come out on her own. After a few days of doing this, she finally just walked out without any treats. I realize that doesn't seem like much to some, but it put a huge smile on my face!⁠ ⁠ Yesterday was the first day she greeted me with a tail wag!!! Talk about water works, lol, it made me cry tears of joy. She followed me around yesterday and nudged my hand to give it a kiss 🥰.⁠ ⁠ All these little steps fills our hearts with so much joy and is a constant reminder of why we do what we do here.
