@courtnwilliams Oh don’t mind us....We just dropped all our kids off to grandmas where they’ll be for the next SEVEN days and we👏🏽 don’t👏🏽 know 👏🏽to 👏🏽act!!!! 😂 like you mean to tell me we get a few consecutive nights of sleep? We can walk around the house however we want? 👀🤷🏽‍♀️🤣 our tv can actually be on something we want to watch? We can order takeout, come home after work & kick our feet up without having to feed and bathe a bunch of tiny humans? We can go out without having a whole crew of kids with us?😱 whew chileee, we are excited & not ashamed about it lol! In all seriousness, I’m grateful for the opportunity to rest, recharge, & reconnect! I know at times we can let mommy guilt creep in when it comes to simply needing a break from mom/family life but it’s absolutely crucial not just for your marriage but for yourself as well. You’re no good to anyone being flat out exhausted & running on “e” 24/7. And as husband & wife, time away from the kids to enjoy just us two is necessary to keep the foundation of our family, which is our marriage, strong!
