road trip to Maine (this past weekend) was a huge success. It’s hard to beat fresh local seafood like lobsters (they’re currently in season, so now is the time!), oysters, clams, and many more. Every local person I’ve met is just incredibly warm and friendly. Luck was definitely on my side because I scored a parking permit for the sunrise at 4 am on Cadillac Mountain after 15 minutes struggling trying to reserve one (it takes people many tries, and you can only do that 2 days in advance!), and a campsite literally a day before! I loved my popover dining experience at the historic Jordan Pond House, and many lobster meals on the dock/pier at charming coastal towns are something I’d never forget!
