Party line🕺🏻💃🏻🕺🏻💃🏻🕺🏻💃🏻 Another weekend in the books of helping lead a @veterans_expeditions climb! While we weren’t able to get them up to the summit this time, that’s never been the point of VetEx. The point is to get people outside, to introduce them to mountaineering as a form of physical and mental exercise, and to strengthen the existing bonds our community has... and what better way than through mutually shared suffering up a mountain (bonding through pain is sorta a trademark with the veteran community in particular😂). From seeing old friends again who have joined on trips in past years, to helping new ones learn how to self arrest with an ice axe, it was a great weekend to be in the mountains with great people.
