The many faces of “Hat’s Panache”, a dahlia that I hybridized two years ago. Parents were “Spartacus” and “Peaches (N Cream)”. Over the last couple years, these plants were around 3’ tall, but this year it shot up to over 6’ tall from tubers that didn’t look promising at all! Ahahah see last photo. Stems are the perfect width to design with, and if you’ve been following along, you know how much I love me some red! It’s truly one of my favorites, checking all the boxes.
