Who I am..... I'm Vasiliki Venetsanopoulos, I am a makeup artist and hair stylist In 1985 my family and I Immigrated to Montreal Canada for a better future.... My passion for makeup began at the age of 9. I saw my first black and white movie " Frankenstein " makeup by Jack P. Pierce . The simplicity of just 2 products and the makeup application on Boris Karloff just blew my mind.... In 2009 is when my journey in makeup started; I attended makeup school 5 days week, while working in restaurants 3 days a week to be able to afford my passion. The love and respect that I have for makeup is unconditional. In 2010 I attended hairdressing school to further advance my career. Once school was completed , I started working in a film like Jack P Pierce for 4 years. Soon after that I needed an new challenge so I continued my journey in retailing for companies such as; Guerlain, Illamasqua, andMac Cosmetis. For Laura Mercier , Bare Minerals and It Cosmetics I was a sales support in Sephora..... In these beautiful 12 years as a makeup artist and hair stylist, it was hard and very emotional. A little Greek girl with big dreams that parents never approved of , I never ever gave up, as much as it was hard . Got published in magazines and I am very grateful of that accomplishment. This year I decided to follow another journey and Im attending the IARTIST mentorship program. I feel extremely blessed to have @jvincentmakeup , @shellytaggar , and @danessa_myricks the makeup artistes as my mentors I am thankful to my #iartist family.
