As I work with the Moore-Miller Administration and the Education Executive Policy team, I simply want to echo the sentiments from my first speech as Maryland State Teacher of the Year. “We have fought and we are fighting to ensure that education remains a golden key that unlocks countless pathways and opportunities for our teachers and students to achieve beyond their wildest imagination. I want you to know that I am here to fight with you.
