X CONNECTION X The connection and love I feel when interacting with these animals is something impossible to describe, so mysterious and so strong at the same time. Once we are close enough to truly watch each other in the eyes, I can literally feel their soul and what’s hiding behind this enormous and intimidating creature. I can see they have interest in me, not really knowing what I am, the same interest I have towards them. I wish each and everyone of us could experience this feeling at least once in their lifetime because if we all could, then our entire relationship to the ocean and the natural world would be completely different and way more respectful... Thanks to these creatures for making me feel these things, I love them more than you could ever imagine ! @deepseaguardians 💙 Shot captured on my @sony.ch.at A1 with 12-24 f2.8 and @aquaticadigital housing. ***before anyone comments that we aren’t supposed to touch marine wildlife (which is totally true), let me explain that these sharks are apex predators and not harmless green sea turtles meaning that if they show too much interest and come too close, we have to push them away, redirect them, to keep a safe distance for both our safety and the animal’s. Don’t try to do that if you are inexperienced tho.
