Trail Report: 🚶🏽‍♀️Old Big Oak Flat Road to Yosemite Valley via Upper Yosemite Falls 🥾 22 miles (including going up to Eagle Peak and when we got a bit off trail) 🆙 4,402 (felt like way more) including portions straight uphill 😪 🏞 Views we’re awesome at the beginning, middle and end. The top of El Capitan and Eagle Peak were incredible. 🏆 WIN: Completed a new trail, saw so many flowers, saw a bear, and got some amazing views! 😕 LOSS: My sleep... definitely need to look into my sleeping pad situation some more and find something better suited to me. 👩🏽‍🏫 Learned: Downhill can be worse than uphill sometimes and the upper Yosemite Falls trail will reach you that. Go slow and don’t be afraid to let people pass you.
