There’s just something about attic bedrooms, don’t you think? I don’t know if it’s because I’ve never lived in a large house (or because I always associate bigger houses with a guarantee of ghosts 😆) but as long as it can physically fit normal-sized furniture, I would always choose a smaller home with characterful little bedrooms, beams and sloped ceilings over a huge sprawling space. And that especially applies to bedrooms - the smaller they are, the better I seem to sleep in them. This is one of the bedrooms I quickly photographed before jumping in a waiting taxi to leave our press tour of brilliant @kinhousewiltshire event space (which happens to be a very large building) but this cosy little den at the top of the house is my vibe all over.
