It was so incredible bringing together some of our most cherished friends for @jolieskinco water-themed soirée at their Amagansett summer house this past week, centered around the notion that beauty starts with clean water.🚰🤍 I truly yearn for days like this— an escape from the city with an intimate crew of amazing, empowering ladies. We spent the afternoon sipping on butterfly pea spritzes, indulging in abundant farmers market crudités, local oysters, the sound of chirping birds, chatter, and windchimes, toe-dipping in the pool a little, and embracing a whole lot. Water is truly at the crux of everything we do, whether that be the water used by baristas to make our sacred morning coffees, or the drops used to moisturize our supple skin. It really spans all aspects of our lives, whether that be food, drinks, beauty, wellbeing, or health. I wanted to bring-forth a dining experience that was immersive, interactive, educational, and personal (because that’s what our relationship with water is — intimate and unique). We played with water as a medium that forms a myriad of dishes interspersed within the menu, whether that be having guests immerse rice paper in water that was filtered through the poolside Jolie shower head to construct their own garden spring rolls with, to cleanse their personal plate of crudités with that same filtered water, mist-their-own salad with a yuzu lychee vinaigrette, build their own oyster art using tri-colored sauces from dropper bottles, or syringe black lavender honey onto their personal raindrop cake for dessert.
