It’s hard to believe that we have finally made it to the finish line of the 2021 IRONMAN World Championship St. George edition. The event ended in the early morning of May 8, 2022 but it didn’t end for the post production team until yesterday. Outstanding script @juliapolloreno. And how about those @frlncr graphics. greg and Ed thank you for that big push to deliver the final show. I always say filmmaking is a team sport. You can’t do it alone. Not this project. It’s too big and too important historically to the sport. What you can do is surround yourself with the best writer, cinematographers and motion graphics artist in the sport that will go hard in the paint to make something special. Leave their mark. Go the extra mile. 140.6 miles to be exact. What it comes down to is they care about the sport and want to honor the athletes. Thank you to all of the professional athletes, age group athletes, and content creators that dedicated their time and effort. This is a true collaboration. We did a few new things this time. Took a few chances. Brought some new energy. I am proud of what we accomplished together and excited that everyone will have a chance to watch on NBC 7/23 at 3pm EST or on Sunday 7/24 on IRONMAN Tri YouTube channel. Hope you all enjoy it. I also hope that someone out there sees our sport for the first time, is inspired by these incredible athletes and decides to take that journey. It will change your life.
