Bringing a retro vibe to our photo shoot, featuring our best varsity styles, felt right up our alley. No one else but our talented friends of @anti_fashion_project could have done it better. They hosted this photo shoot in their red bricks city, Roubaix. Our story together started in December 2016 when Sébastien Kopp and Stéphanie Calvino, VEJA and Anti Fashion founders, made a bridge between their two projects. She created Anti Fashion a year after Lidewij Edelkoort published a manifesto supporting a forceful change in the fashion industry. Through training, workshops, and social inclusion, Anti Fashion gathers the youth of Marseille and Roubaix, sharing the same desire to rethink the fashion system. It made sense to create a mentoring program with VEJA to let them experience different work fields such as retail, design, or communication for a few days or weeks. In 2022, 6 of them joined the VEJA team.
