SOME OF THE BEST SUSHI, HAPPY HOURS AND ATMOSPHERES IN TOWN....UCHIBA HAS BEEN A LONGSTANDING FAVORITE AND WE ARE HERE TO REMIND YOU ABOUT IT! One of our co-founders got married over the weekend and in her honor, we’re sharing one of her favorite places: @uchibadallas! It has one of the best happy hours around town, and some of the best sushi too! ABOUT Uchiba is the sister restaurant to upscale sushi restaurant @uchidallas. It opened in 2018, in a space above Uchi, with a casual but sexy atmosphere. Lots of blacks, woods and an ornamental dark red floral red paper set the tone, and you can either choose a more sultry interior or a brighter, Japanese modern exterior that overlooks the Uptown street. MENU Uchiba separates itself from Uchi, beyond the more casual vibe, with a yakitori grill and a full bar. It’s a bit more lively and fun too, whereas Uchi offers a more traditional and upscale Japanese experience. The menu is filled with small shareable plates with light offerings like nigiri and sashimi to heavier options like a fried chicken sandwich and burger. (Both slider-sized and delicious!) MUST TRYS You can’t go without ordering at least a few of the following (if not all): the brussel sprouts, the Nama hotate (day boat scallop), the Hama chili or really any of the “tastings.” They’re all fabulous! HAPPY HOUR Happy hour takes place daily from 5-6:30pm, and means that you can score a $4 beer skewer, a $6.50 mini burger, and other dishes all priced between $2-$10! It’s truly one of the best deals for some of the best food, in the city! AUSTIN PS Austinites, or visitors, get excited because Uchiba is opening in Austin too in the “Google Tower” in Downtown, sometime this fall!
