Whatever your views, the Queen represented qualities which we can all admire and aspire to: humility, resilience, dignity, grace, stoicism and above all, duty. As a steadfast female head of state, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she gave a lifetime of wise, calm and selfless service and was an exemplary role model for generations of women.
