Contributing to Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season One was a true bucket list item for the hardcore Trekkies at Tendril. Working closely with the CBS team led by Production Designer Jonathan Lee, we created a set of animated looping artworks for real-time playback on LED walls built into the gorgeous set of Enterprise's 10-Forward crew lounge. The above clip showcases a portion of the seascape artwork. Designing for this context was a unique challenge, requiring a seamlessly looping element without cuts or camera moves, but with the loop point completely hidden so that it could be shot in camera from various angles and effectively compliment a wide range of scenes and moods.
