For the Orions Discovery Production wanted a very smooth ethereal look to their skin. This was achieved by using super thin silicone appliances (full wrap around neck, ears, face & lips) we also added lace eyebrows, wig and beauty makeup on these looks. Everyone knows a show of this scale takes a lot of teamwork & I’m very proud of all the work we did on Season 4 of Star Trek: Discovery. It was one of the first big prosthetic TV shows to come back during the height of Covid. So amongst the all of the usual obstacles we also had the new Covid protocols that would change weekly we had to try navigate, while performers where in full prosthetics. Most importantly we couldn’t have done it without all of the amazing artists from Alchemy Studios @glenn_hetrick_ the talented daily Toronto crew and the core set team @versionsofu @nixiepixie13 @chrisburgoyne @adrianmakesfaces Even if you worked one day you helped us get though season 4 and make it a success and I can’t thank you all enough.
