Last night we went to the preview of @kathrynferguson documentary on Sinead ‘Nothing compares to you.’ I laughed with her and wept for her and for all the people who have been preyed upon for the colour of their skin, their gender, their sexuality. So good to see a big image of Sinead staring down in Times Square at the very spot where unbelieving humans crushed her art with bulldozers because she stood firm against misplaced patriotism, the patriarchy and the horror of the Catholic Churches hidden paedophilia . I hope many many people go to see this film and walk away feeling stronger in themselves. I’m so happy to have been a contributor to this retelling of her Sinead’s story. ❤️ Thank you @kathrynferguson
