My Grandmother was in the Royal Air Force and met my Grandfather who was in the American Army during the war. They got married in Wales, and moved to the states where they had my Mom. My Nana was one of seven, so I still have a ton of family across the pond. In 2015, my Mom and I were visiting for a family wedding, and we had this random special moment seeing the Queen drive right in front of us to go into Buckingham Palace. This would have been a special moment no matter what, but my Grandmother had just passed a few months before, so it was extra special. It really did pay off to not sit home...well, the hotel. lol RIP Queen Elizabeth II 👑
