It's a song about trauma at the heart of it, but more about how those mechanisms come out to affect the people you love most around you... I wrote Blood without much thought in my bedroom in January 2021, I didn't really know where it came from or what it fully meant at the time, but as time has passed and I've lived more life I've found the song has really come into it's own and sits in a very special place in my heart ❤️ Big thanks to @samlloydtaylor for playing the drums on this one as well as @lewispick_ for the guitar and also shooting this lovely visualiser 🥰 I hope you enjoy! x
