#HaitianExcellece 🇭🇹 We are so excited to announce that Haitians Who Blog has won the Empowerment Business Conference Pitch Competition this past week from @aacccfl and @ikea_foundation Our founder recently accounced at the business conference that Haitians Who Blog is launching the first freelancer directory highlighting Haitian creators and service providers with the vision of amplifying the voices of Haitian creatives. We are so excited for what's ahead! Running a tech-enabled community platform while navigating the lack of funding and resources are normally the #1 reason women owned businesses have a hard time staying in business. This funding will help us get closer to our funding goal and mission of building an equitable future for Haitian creators. Through funding from @facebook, @toryburchfoundation we are steps closer to making this a reality. In the near future, we hope to host more events, workshops, courses, curate more digital downloads, and relaunch our community so that more Haitian creators will have safer spaces to explore their freelancing careers.
