I finally had some time (and most importantly — mental bandwidth) to draw something for myself. These moments are getting fewer and require a bit more conscious effort and intention lately to happen. It’s not always like this of course. It’s funny how your hobby overlaps with work and gradually becomes more work than relaxation actually. I still feel blessed though that I’m able to merge these two and I’m well aware this is a privilege and luxury that many people don’t have. - Anyway, here’s a new portrait. I feel this type of portrait has become my thing in a way. I like the idea of having floating elements on your face that represent how you feel or what you think. It’s like having wrinkles embedded forever in your face that tell your life story — but like in a more graphical and specific way. ✨
