Perfect days might not exist but perfect moments do! Well, in my life anyway, and I find it really important to stop and notice them because they seem to be much more fleeting than the non-perfect ones! Because the hard days seem to hang around so much more it can feel like that’s all we ever have. I want to document the good moments so I can hold on tight to them and remember it’s not all bad, especially when things get extra tough. Shall we take the moment these photos were taken? My hair just went right first go with little to no effort (how does that even happen?!) and this dress is a throw-on-and-look-amazing, thanks @pourmoiltd. So all it took was a little make up, which thankfully I a) had the energy for and b) went right first time with minimal products 🙏 So out with the camera and snap, snap, snap until I was almost out of energy. ALMOST! See, I’m learning 😁 But I was then done for the day, actually next few days, like maybe 5. But that’s ok, it’s has to be because that’s my reality right now. It can be so hard...scrap that...it IS so hard to watch others living their lives, using energy like a limitless resource, pain-free (I literally can’t remember what that’s like but I must have felt it at some point in my life - surely!) and smiling their way from one night out to the next event. Urgh... FOMO can hit even those with a degree in JOMO (joy-of-missing-out) so don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s having the CHOICE taken away that’s the absolute B!tch of it. Remember how everyone moaned about being shut away in lockdown... yeah that but your own private lockdown that no one cares about. It’s a whole thing. Anyway...back to these joyful moments.
