Even those of us committed to a life of growth, personal development, expansion, spiritual ascension, and reaching our potential...need a break.⁣ ⁣ It isn’t conducive or healthy to constantly be analyzing how you can improve, ways to optimize your routine, audit your habits, or nitpick every way you could be better.⁣ ⁣ Happiness and wholeness are found in stillness, in the pockets of time where you’re present, aware, and accepting of how things are.⁣ ⁣ It’s great to be self-aware and helpful to understand your downfalls. Goals, ambitions, and even resolutions are diving forces for some of the greatest things you’ll ever do and become. But if you skip the part where you celebrate who you are now, it defeats the purpose. ⁣ ⁣ Imagine an artist working on a lifelong painting, making their way across a massive canvas, attending to every missing detail, and never once pulling back to enjoy the art. ⁣ ⁣ Don’t just examine the artwork for what’s missing or how to enhance the composition. But sit in awe of what you’ve created, celebrate who this painting will inspire, and feel grateful for the tools that participated in your divine development.⁣ ⁣ You are simultaneously a work in progress and a work of art.
