HALF BAKED: 20 WEEKS 👩‍🍳🍪🤍🤰 Pregnancy updates👇 • whenever someone asks me how I’m feeling, my answer is always that I’m feeling all of the feels! Lots of new symptoms all of the time but overall just so so happy & excited for this next chapter. I have truly never felt more grateful. • getting & feeling bigger by the day! It’s definitely been challenging to not compare my body to others in similar phases of their pregnancies. No one really warns you about the adjustment you feel internally with your body changing (although of course all normal) In those moments I constantly remind myself that there is a lil human growing inside of me!!! How friggen cool is that?! • getting a lot of questions about whether I started a baby registry, if I’m having a baby shower, when I plan to start setting up the nursery, etc. Truth is is that I’ve just been prioritizing myself every day through my pregnancy and haven’t thought about this stuff yet. BUT, now that I’m halfway there, it’s probably time to start putting on my radar... open to any & all suggestions in this next step of the journey! • at first I wasn’t as eager to know the gender, but as we get closer we are both starting to get antsy! We’re dying to know but it also makes it that much more fun. It’s going to be the best surprise ever meeting this little babe! 🩵🩷 ps. we have our boy & girl names picked out!!! • we had our anatomy scan which fortunately went well 🙏 it’s definitely a nerve wracking appointment to go into! The appt was only supposed to be 30-45 min, but mine ended up being 1.5 hours because the baby was jumping around in my belly which made it really hard to capture pics 🤣 I low key loved it though. Incredibly cool to see!!! • felt first baby movement at 19 weeks & 3 days 😭🥰 didn’t feel like a “kick” and I could only feel it internally (aka not by holding my hand on my belly) - an indescribable feeling! • my husband, my rock @bencohen66 has been so incredibly supportive & helpful these past few months. He’s really stepped up with all of the small day to day things that help make my day easier. He’s been such an incredible husband & will be the best dad EVER #pregnancy #20weeks
