Flashback fabulousness with Debbie Wileman. 👠👠 Debbie Wileman After following her and that fabulous voice of hers for years, I was delighted to finally meet her in person. I did her makeup and hair for her album and recording session at Sony Studios. As a celebrity impersonator myself it was honor to add some Judy Garland traits to Debbie. And get this, it was the same studio that Judy Garland herself recorded in. In the photo Debbie and I are standing on a marked spot. It’s the spot where Judy Garland herself recorded ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’. With wardrobe provided by Steve Campbell from the Judy Garland wardrobe of the legendary Jim Bailey. 🌈 Debbie was one of my favorite Facebook live entertainers who got me through the dark days of Covid lockdown and joblessness. With her Song a Day, she dazzled myself and millions of people around the world. But it was her Judy Garland impression that Slayed. It’s no surprise that she is now going on tour with her impression of Judy Garland. I was honored to be brought on as her hair and make up artist for the Catalina jazz club to celebrate Judy Garland‘s 100th birthday.
