X 6 HUMPBACKS X I just made it back to my 2nd home with @immadiscoveler : French Polynesia, where we’ll be hosting two expeditions in the upcoming months with @deepseaguardians ! After only a couple days here in Mo’orea, things are already getting completely out of control as usual when I’m with my bro and underwater mentor @pierrick_moana ! That sunset was just one of the most epic moment I ever lived: we heard that some humpbacks and pilot whales were cruisin’ around the island so we hopped on the boat and started looking for them. After a short research and a brief moment of observation to watch how they were behaving, it was time to jump in and witness nature’s magic at its finest: 6 Humpback Whales surrounded by a dozen of Pilot Whales came straight at us, made a gentle right turn and then disappeared again between the darkness of the depth and the brightness of these light rays. While I was filming this scene, I didn’t look into the camera, I kept my eyes on what was happening and all I can tell is that it didn’t feel real. The light, the animals, the sounds, everything was so perfect that it was just too beautiful to be true and it felt completely unreal ! What a moment... Thanks again to @pierrick_moana for making it happen and once again happy birthday to my queen @immadiscoveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end her bday !
