Jeff Beck, the legendary guitarist from English rock band The Yardbirds, has died. He was 78. "On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing," read a tweet on Beck's official account, adding that the musician died "after suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis." Beck also fronted the bands Jeff Beck Group and Beck, Bogert & Appice. He won a total of eight Grammy Awards throughout this career. #jeffbeck
