I allowed myself two smokes in Paris because it’s Paris and I romanticize what I romanticize. This was one of them, and so I made good use of it. Picked the spot I wanted, stared into the sun and sipped cheap wine out of a plastic cup in a brand new coat I got for a steal and behind sunglasses I should have stolen as well. And I know later I may come to regret the wine and certainly the smoke but I won’t regret the coat or the sunglasses and if half of the things I do in life I manage to agree with after I’ve done them then I’ve done alright by me.
