Everything reflects 💡 Same client, same day just different lighting 🟡In warmer, yellow lighting, hair will reflect this color, resulting in a yellower tone. The first clip you see is from inside of the salon. Salon lighting can be on the yellower side. 🟠When in warmer, orange-based lights hair will reflect a warmer, honey to brass color. The second clip is from golden hour which is when the sun is setting so the hair looks very warm, almost copper. 🔵Under cold white or blueish lights, hair will appear to be more ash-blonde. Natural lighting gives off a true display of blonde tones in the hair, as opposed to the lighting in the salon were your clients get the service done. Lighting in the salon can either come from incandescent bulbs which give off a yellowish tone or from fluorescent bulbs which bring out more cool or ash tones. Tip for stylist - When taking pictures of your clients turn the salon lights off. It’s always best to take your pictures in indirect sunlight or outside under an overhang. If the tone in your video/pictures looks nothing like the hair in person move around and try different places. Clients- when you get home from your hair appointment and see a different tone than when you left the salon please keep lighting in mind. #hairstylistproblems #lighting #hairphotography #hairvideos #lightingmatters #haireducation #hairstylisteducation #hairpics #oldmoneybrunette #brunettebalayage
