In the summer of 1976 a young photographer named Iain Mckell travelled to Weymouth's seaside capturing passers-by. For a then 19-year-old preoccupied with sex and existential angst, this series of photos would act as a visual diary that would later be published into a book entitled Private Reality.
A few years later in 1979 Iain Mckell would document the Skinhead scene during the Two Tone movement within the UK. The stark images would later become part of his iconic self-published book entitled Sub Culture.
