A kicking pop up this weekend in Antwerp! @stof.store A range of Belgian brands such as A.F. Vandevorst, Veronique Branquinho, Raf Simons, Tim Van Steenbergen, Jurgi Persoons, Ann Demeulemeester, Bruno Pieters and more will be represented. Besides clothes, there will also be books, other curiosities and more from the Open opera cabinet by w wh at*. These w wh at* collections are theme-based and various objects like trousers, comics, artworks etc. were chosen for their creative qualities such as being different, well-made and/ or durable or for their performative capabilities. These objects serve as mediators for reflection, the creation of actions and to create inspiring rooms of wonder. The Open opera (Oo *) cabinets—in the historically iconic art house Ercola in Wolstraat 31, 2000 Antwerp—are a meeting space for co-creation and the presentation of the Oo * scenes. We have the pleasure to be guests at the w wh at*s Oo * Cabinets with our pop-up. We collaborated with them in advance on some actions as live ensemble with the wwhat* Marcellekes collection, a chair painting by Franck Bragigand & Spit atelier, plus 2x Marti Guixé football toys combined with heels by Stof in front of the w wh at* M HKA wall with the M HKA Refund Painting series by Vaast Colson. These w wh at* tank tops (marcellekes in Flemish) & more will be available along with Stof pieces at the pop up. We hope to welcome you all to our Open opera-wwh at*-Stof wonder closet! Note: Friday 9 December will be our opening night and we’ll serve some drinks while you can come & visit us & explore the space. This from 7pm to 10pm On Saturday and Sunday, we will be open from 11am to 6pm.
