Just because summer is over and snow is falling doesn’t mean hiking is over. There are some fantastic winter hikes in the Canadian Rockies, perfect for enjoying the beautiful snow and fresh mountain air. Winter in the Rockies starts in November and lasts until April, and sometimes into May. So while you are waxing the snowboard and polishing the cross-country skis, you can layer up, put on a pair of waterproof hiking boots and get out there! ❄️🏔
