What are you letting go of before 2026 begins?
As 2025 comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting, and these are the things weighing me down—so I’m letting them go as I prepare to walk into 2026.
They’re still works in progress for me—and maybe they are for you too. Can you relate to any of these?
1. Speeding through life – My decade in France shaped me profoundly, teaching me the magic of slow living and the quiet art of doing nothing. I’m embracing more slow living in 2026: lingering mornings, gentle rhythms, and giving myself permission to be fully present in moments.
2. Saying “yes” too much. I’m learning that I don’t need to over-explain my “no,” even though the people-pleaser in me still tries to. This is a tough boundary for me, but it is really something I want to work on in 2026.
3. Indecision has held me back more than I’d like to admit. I’ve been so afraid to go all in on one thing that I end up stuck in the middle, doing a little bit of everything and committing to nothing. In 2026, I’m choosing to trust myself enough to go all in—and if it doesn’t work out, I’ll pivot.
4. Perfectionism. Yeah… still working on releasing this one. It keeps me chasing standards no one is holding me to except myself. I’m realizing that showing up imperfectly is better than not showing up at all.
So. tell me…can you relate with any of these? What are you letting go of before 2026 begins? What no longer serves you, and what are you releasing to start the new year on the right foot?
Drop it in the comments so we can start the New Year off on the right foot together. 🤍✨
