My toxic trait is that I'm kinda petty. I credit myself for not combating every troll in comment sections anymore. You cannot prove yourselves to people that don't seek to acknowledge you beyond the limitations of their imaginations. 90 percent of the time, it's wasted energy to go back and forth with someone. But baby, that 10 percent got a hold on me some days - either when I'm well rested, tapping into dark humor or want to show others that we're better than them on our worst days. I'm not here to tell anyone to turn the other cheek. But I'm not gonna say that sometimes you gotta put some stuff out there. Flex a little once in a blue. And very seldom, I'll catch an insult that actually makes me laugh. Sometimes irony. Sometimes it's my dark humor understanding that the mean joke ain't about me at all and more like an attack against a joy they haven't experienced.
