Forget the magnificent flames from the flambé that many people go to Le continental restaurant for. Seeing how our waiter/chef juggles taking orders, making recommendations, entertaining and preparing our ceasar salad, filet mignon, shrimp and peach flambé by the table side while serving a few other tables near us, preparing almost the same thing is a dinner with a show by itself. Everything was done professionally and skillfully, the dishes all turned out perfect. This place is such a gem, easy to miss if you don’t plan to do fine dining during your trip to Quebec City. But I wouldn’t miss this place for anything else, especially if it’s also one of Anthony Bourdain’s favorite restaurants in Quebec City.
