Smallville Pilot Episode. Most challenging moment of my career. Stunt person took me down 12 feet to the crashed porsche. Put me into the front seat and placed weights on me to hold me in place. I could hear the muffled voice of the director David Nutter and would give him a thumbs up when he gave me direction. I could not see anything as I breathed into an oxygen tank intermittently. I was panicked, claustrophobic. I didn’t think i’d get through it. I thought for sure they would fire me. But with the help of a great stunt team, a patient crew and a wonderful acting partner, I pulled it off and the rest is history. #smallville @tomwelling #lex #clark #pilot #stunt #life
