For someone who prefers anonymity over publicity, speaking with @unemployedandafraid certainly pushed me out of my comfort zone. For those who are interested my chat with the delightful Kim landed today 😬 I won’t lie the “recovering perfectionist” and eternal procrastinator that is me, Jessica (👋), took until early afternoon to bring myself to listen. That said it made me smile to reflect on our journey and how life and plans aren’t always foreseen. If there is one thing that creating @sabi.stays has taught me, it has been to not assume anything about yourself and to always be open to new ideas and the very things that challenge us (for me that’s asymmetry - I joke... sort of!). Truly, all that is wabi sabi was the very antithesis of me and yet here I am now guided and inspired by the very philosophy that represented my inverse of me. I set out on the creation of SABI to be challenged and to evolve as a person and I may have just succeeded.
