Joining the @nike Think Tank has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had as an athlete. I knew I wanted to do something special with this opportunity so that it would benefit the next generation of aspiring women’s soccer players. Amongst all the different options my team and I looked at, we landed on something very close to my heart. I decided I wanted to open my own non-profit program that specifically dedicates itself to bringing talented soccer players from all over the world to the American Collegiate System. Which is why today I am proud to announce the Queen Deyna Education & Sports Program. I wouldn’t be where I am without the American Collegiate system. I want more girls to have that kind of transformative experience and I am committed to opening a path that facilitates that journey for hundreds of talented girls worldwide. I want to give sincere thanks to @nike for working with me to help sponsor the Class of 2022 Program Inductees that will include 20 talented young girls who will soon embark on their own journey at various universities across the United States. Through this program, I hope to encourage all girls to seek grander pastures and realize that sports do indeed provide a pathway to a better life. I want to thank @thinkfuera @sonialc @ablascoron and the entire team at @mktjersey for supporting my crazy ideas. I also want to thank @agm_educacion for accepting to develop this program with us. We wanted to make an immediate impact through this program and we have partnered with the best in the industry. Being part of the Nike family not only helps me.
