SUNDAY S C A R I E S?!😖🤪 • • • NOT TODAY! i took tomorrow off to literally spend a day with myself. i’ve felt super drained, exhausted, worn out, all the feels lately and i just needed a day. two years ago, i would have NEVER taken a personal day. i would feel so much guilt and shame whenever i was out of the classroom, that i would just stick it out and give my all, even when there was nothing left to give😕 but we thank God for GROWTH! over the years i’ve quickly realized that i’m courtney FIRST and, even though i love her just the same, miss brink comes second...sometimes even third or fourth!! all that to say...USE YOUR PTO and never apologize for putting your mental health before those lesson plans. you can’t be everything to everyone and nothing to yourself.
