Me all weekend writing emails to Instagram to reinstate my instagram account and remove the fake account impersonating me. These social media platforms need to move fast to improve security and protect their users. These scams are getting more sophisticated and aggressive and people are going to get hurt. If you ever get a note from me asking for you to send crypto it’s bullshit and ignore it. I look forward to a day when we become less dependent on these huge tech companies and have more control over our digital footprints. I was the biggest fan of the social media sites for so many years and frankly helped put instagram on the map (remember @kevin ) but I am now disgusted with the way they treat people and how they have made it impossible to contact anyone within their organization. I will probably erase this post in a couple of hours and go back to posting selfies and skate videos. Also can I have a blue checkmark ? Thanks.
