I thought that I would get used to the energy and passion that NOMAD creates during its showcase but, after almost six years, I am convinced more than ever that there is nothing that can prepare me to the warmth and the intensity of every edition. From the enthusiasm of the visitors to the the quality of the projects, @nomadcircle has created a reality of its own: an all-rounded experience as an alternative to the traditional art fairs. The 9th edition just closed its doors in Engadine, and it was an all time success and great accomplishment. Surrounded by the wonderfully snow-capped Swiss mountains, the Chesa Planta formed the perfect and cozy home for the gathering of wondrous collection of design objects and art works. With more galleries and special projects than ever, the great quality of the installations brought some of the world’s best design and contemporary art names all under the same roof. From visitors, gallerists, artists, designers and curators, a unique mix of talents who created the wonderful community that makes most of the NOMAD experience. Thanks to everyone for making this edition history again and don’t get too comfortable because there’s a new showcase just around the corner, be ready for NOMAD Capri this summer !
