The rash did go away after applying this mixture but once we removed the steroid and only applied moisturizer, it recurred AGAIN and AGAIN 🤦🏻‍♀️ PD said this is inevitable since Claire is having solids which means there is constantly moisture around her mouth and she’s also drooling. Both wx and I were so dejected, we did NOT want to keep using steroid on Claire, especially on her face! Started using the ATOPALM products on Claire in late Nov, the Top to Toe Wash and Panthenol Cream at home and the MLE cream at my mom’s when Claire is over for daycare. Claire’s face has been rash-free ever since 🎉 To be 100% transparent, the eczema behind her ears and the fungal rash on her elbows still come back sometimes, but since the frequency is much lower and it’s also not as severe as before, we no longer use any steroid, just pure Panthenol cream, twice daily.
