👎 is the new 👍 i had a yoga teacher that said “embrace the suck” and that’s stuck with me ever since. we are all suffering the unintended consequences of living in a society focused on comfort and the absence of pain. i’m learning that my biggest setbacks and flaws can become my greatest lessons and assets with enough work. more courage, more openness, more discipline, more mindfulness, and more time outside in 2022. i hope it’s your best year yet, which may mean it’s your hardest year yet. embrace the suck, i’m here if u need me -wes
