Any restaurant business in its infancy requires dedication, commitment and hard work to get it up and running. Sargasso is very close to its first year of trading and has achieved so much in such a brief time. Acknowledgment from the Michelin guide and National Restaurant Awards to great reviews in the national press, it’s wonderful to see our little restaurant on the harbour arm in Margate have such an impact. Marcelo has been at the helm of the kitchen since the opening and has been key in building and achieving those successes. An intergral part of the opening team, Marcelo has taken the decision to start a new chapter and will be moving on from Sargasso in September.
