!!️It's my birthday! 🎉 And I'm having *this* much fun. I've learned to take the breezy days when they appear for you and this beautiful September weather has me feeling some type of way. Usually does around this time of year, transitional as it is - the winds are blowing. And that's cool with me. You really never know what's going to happen next. Life is a trip and I'm thankful I have this much fun with my fam, friends, and community that loves music and creating special times together. I hope we continue to keep having them well into our lives, and why wouldn't we? Some of our most foundational moments have been experienced together, and we come back to them to check in on each other and ourselves, and to make sure we continue to be a part of something as life goes on it's twists and turns. Like my back this week (I see you, universe). Anyway, this year reminded me of how important all that stuff is for US, and no matter how much fun you we can have in our own 4 walls (I really think I have enough records for this lifetime, babe), experiencing & sharing more is better for everyone. There's enough to go around and then some. And as sure as Christopher Cross "Sailing" slaps harder with each passing birthday, we'll have many more ups and downs in life, but today, right now, with this view on the "hill", life feels like a breeze. Just gotta stop and let it hit you every now and then. Peace to my '82 crew!
