Came back to NM to do round 2 of Waco with the Dowdle brothers— who, by the way, are still the kindest, funniest, and just generally the best people I’ve ever worked with— but anyways divine timing would have it that my personal life would concurrently devolve into absolute nightmare car wreck— AND YET (such a beautiful phrase imo) here I am telling important stories with people I consider family (shoutout to Allison, my new friend forever) and it’s just the wildest blessing of my life. The duality in every moment never ceases to amaze—how I can be simultaneously so grateful and so sad, how the world can be so beautiful and so horrific. I don’t know. I really don’t know!
