Well, after years of looking for a salon where I could walk out 100% happy with the results, I found Himitsukichi Salon in Times Square. Japanese owned, Japanese operated, and this Japanese customer could not be more thrilled. 🇯🇵 I booked Ayumi ( @hks_ayumi ) solely based on availability and I am so lucky that I did. She was kind, caring, efficient, and completely fixed the year’s worth of damage on my head. アユミさん、お世話になりました! Realization of the day is that I’ve been neglecting to get my hair done at establishments that truly understand my type of hair and the complexities that come with it. To my Asian friends, if you have yet to find a salon that gives you that, definitely try this one out. Seriously, I wish this was an ad but it’s not.
